The maps in the “Uprising” DLC for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” can be freely accessed on Xbox 360 this weekend – sort of a free trial to see if you are interested in actually purchasing the DLC – and in addition to that charity, gamemaker Treyarch is offering double XP points on all online matches on all consoles this weekend. The free maps are Encore, Magma, Studio and Vertigo along with a Mob of the Dead zombies map.
The “Apocalypse” DLC includes the Dig, Frost, Pod and Takeoff multiplayer maps as well as an “Origins” zombies map which is placed in a World War I era mode and stars heroes of the Call of Duty: World at War” zombies map. The “Apocalypse” DLC is available for $14.99 or as a free download for Season Pass members and will be launching for Sony PS3 and PC on September 26, 2013.
